Mi sto appassionando a questo cineasta francese, che come nessun altro, dalle parole del critico culturale Steven Shaviro, "ha dato un ruolo così cruciale alle posture e ai gesti corporali, al comportamento fisico e al movimento di mani e piedi".
"Bresson ci mostra sempre gli sforzi e la fatica del corpo, piuttosto che l'alienazione e l'angoscia dello spirito; anche se è presumibilmente quest'ultimo l'argomento dei suoi film".

comportments and to the motions of hands and feets like no ather.
